This is the very first pattern I've ever created on my own. I'm still quite proud of it, to be honest!
The main element of this pattern is a stitch called the Half Double Crochet in the Third Loop. I found a video tutorial on the Moogly Blog and thought it was one of THE most amazing stitches I'd ever seen. I didn't even know there WAS a Third Loop to work with. The things you learn, eh? But I digress.
Let me tell you, if you're a newbie designer (like me, at least at this point) design is NOT easy. However, it is kind of fun, in it's own exasperating way.
I need to send the BIGGEST shout out to my two testers, MyMar and EAR, for putting up with me and my incessant questions throughout the testing process. Extra big thanks to EAR for helping me write the pattern out into something legible. I learned a LOT from her, and I'm forever in her debt.
The Starburst Dishcloth and Trivet are for sale in PDF form in my Ravelry Store for $1.99 CDN.
